Still tweaking the spamprotection, it gets better the more people spam here. We've gone from the IP banning (old IP bans still there, not too good use tho with all dynamic hosts/open proxies) to wordbanning. Seems to work alot better.

Kudos to the best. I first found out about Maktone when swapping Class (RIP, you will be missed) releases with friends, 99-00ish. The Maktone music in some of the cracktros/installers would really be the highlight of the releases.
Now, when I listen to some pieces, it makes me really nostalgic and think back to those care-free and happy days.

Yes, maktone is one hell of a chip composer, but have you ever listened to Grzegorz Kwiatek? Amazing music created with 8-bit Ataris. Beats maktone imo.

I found this site through wikipedia (that site rocks!) and damn I'm gald I did.. I loved those class tunes but I didn't have a clue how to get those tunes without the instaler.. like some guys said before I also ran installers purely for some tracker songs..

Still alot of people ask about .mp3 files. Just convert the mod/xm with for example Winamp to .wav. Then encode the wavfiles into mp3 with Lame encoder.

OMG. I've finally got a hold of all that great music. I love when groups have a sweet installer with awesome music. My favorite so far has been the Black&White installer's track 3. Maktone, you kick ass!

oh yeah i almost forgot, for those of you who want to convert SIDS to WAV theres something called Sidplay2 donwload it here:
http://sidplay2.sourceforge.net/
extract the zipfile into a folder, start up sidplay2 and load a SID tune. once loaded go to FILE --> SAVE AS here you can choose for C64 data, SID, and WAV. choose WAV (ofcourse) and you can start the conversion. with another wav to mp3 converter you can make mp3s out of them

ok, everybody who wants to convert their mods to wav or mp3 listen up!
there is a program called CDMaster32 find it @ http://www.zittware.com its shareware so no trouble with cracks or whtvr. once you downloaded and installed the software, start it up and do the following:
go to RECORD-->FILE CONVERSIONS -->MP3/WAV (whatever you like) click ADD FILES, browse to your lovely maktone mod collection, and start the conversion :)
mp3s/wavs are stored in cdmaster32/mp3 or /wav by default.
now you can listen to your favorite tunes everywhere ;)

Funny ehe, maktone has been my biggest fan in the mod scene for years.. last weekend i was at this party where there was this girl who downloaded maktone tunes and started playing them i was like WTF whos listening to this, and it was my young child friend who apparently also was a huge fan.. also in school ive heard maktone tunes several of times in class and im like, dude turn that off you dont know ashit about this music lol.. all maktone duders i recommend you to listen to sac11.revenging cops its fucking brilliant you should get program that can mute channels and you should just listening to the bass tune and stuff ive done that for few days now its pretty much all im listening to nowadays since its so fucking brilliant.

I just wanted to let you know I've been listening to your "Sae03.mod" for about 4 or 5 years now (from the Class installer for Black & White) without ever having seen this site (I have tried searching for you in the past, could never find you).
I keep it in a special folder and listen to it hours on end, I absolutely fucking loved it. I tried ripping it a few times myself which, needless to say, always resulted in loss of quality.
Last year, I installed Gentoo Linux on my PC and was from that point unable to listen to the song anymore (Cedega/Wine didn't work with it), so it got lost in some of my older files.
Just recently I installed Windows XP Pro as a dual boot to be able to play the one game I love to play; Counter-Strike (and since shortly; Half-Life 2) and came across the installer again (by a sheer coincidence).
Anyway, I started checking google again on your nick and sure enough, I found this site.
Well, I have since downloaded every song on this site (thanks for making the ZIP files) and am listening to all the songs enlisted.

I recently downloaded SimGolf, and it's fine cracked installer. When I ran the installer, I couldn't believe my ears! It was glorious! I sometimes just run the installer and let the song play and keep looping because it's so awesome. I used foobar2000 to transfer your tunes into mp4's. Then I put them on my iPod, which docks in my car into my 2,000 watt system. Maktone has never been played this loud out of a car :)
I've been siting n' listening to "revening cops" for days, the bass tune in it is the best ive heard EVER, I luv all Maktone's work!! I downloaded this big mod pack once with around 800 tracks and Maktone had like 5ish of his tracks in it and god you can tell the difference between a master piece and trash in this genre of music.

But I have a question: I was searching very long for 3d movies that can fill your screen, and run on their own. A little similar to the CRACKTRÖ's, only without a message and so.... i dig class11, I want it as my ringtone but every midi conversion I've tried to do comes out like crap. Any suggestions from anyone else? btw, the version of class11 that can be downloaded from the site seems truncated at the end and is slightly lower quality I think than the one on the install, anybody know where I can get a good version? When i first installed Worms Armaggedon there where an amaxing tune in the installer. I recorded that tune to cassette and listened to it very often =). And now i find the same chiptone song here on yout page. Doin' Damage, awsome work. I was stuned then and i am stund now. Keep up the good work!

I love Maktone's tunes... Especially class11... Other tunes i really like are Purple Motion's Satellite One and song 2 of an old crack/warez/supplier (dunno what they're actually called :) team named Hybrid... It's maybe the best i've ever heard, but i just can't rip it off from a setup program of their '97 worms 2 release..

I just heard time flies on the new class installer. I was stunned, amazed, it felt like I was puched upside down and turned all around! You should have a top 10 list of your songs because some songs are awesome and some aren't so hot, if you know what I mean :)

Man ur tunes touch me... Sometimes i even cry when i'm listenin to ur chips... So beautiful. No-one else makes so beautiful tunes that i even cry when listenin to em. I also like Class' installers and graphics... The "dot-effects" on some new installers are pretty cool.

Somebody complained that class11.time flies gets cut. It doesn't cut, if you listen it with a tracker like ImpulseTracker, it loops...And again, your music is GREAT!!
Your music is AMAZING!!! I listen to your music every day. My favourites are class10, vanishing colors and class5, but I still love them all...Just keep up the good work!!
I listen to a LOT of music, and your music is better than most artists who get paid millions of dollars. You need to get signed to a label and become famous, because you are that good.
